La Parenthèse was a perfect base in the middle of the quaint town of Thuir. My mum, sister, and I stayed there during our visit to France last May, and we came away with so many happy memories. Valerie is a wonderful host. When we arrived, she welcomed us with local Spanish frittata and Thuir wine, both delicious. We ordered breakfast from her too, and it’s well worth treating yourself. There’s also a pool, though the weather was a little cool and we didn’t use it. Valerie was happy to share local tips, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I’d recommend her place as a stylish base for exploring that part of France.

The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and decorated with real taste. Valérie is a charming host who’s there when you need her, then gives you space to enjoy the terrace and pool. She’s created a beautiful, almost timeless setting.

Valérie was always quick to reply and available if we wanted to chat, while still giving us space. Her welcome was perfect, with thoughtful little touches when we arrived. The accommodation is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. We slept comfortably, and the pool was nicely heated. The village center is just a few minutes away on foot. Between the pool and all the activities in Thuir, we didn’t need the car at all. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Valerie made sure everything went smoothly, and her attentive welcome and helpfulness made the stay feel special. This charming residence in Thuir is tastefully decorated, and we loved spending time outside and making use of its pleasant amenities, including the pool and lovely outdoor space. A truly memorable visit, and a big thank you to Valerie.
