Hôtel Le Diamond Rock

Jeanne and her skiroom team were a real highlight. They know their skiing and gear, always greeted us with a smile, and gave genuinely excellent service. Jo Jo also made breakfast feel welcoming, and was cheerful, kind and keen to help. The hotel itself is good and the location is perfect, but the restaurants didn’t live up to what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. They were overpriced for the quality. In particular, the Italian restaurant was really poor, and management should rethink both the menu and the chef. The jacusis by the slope weren’t working for the whole season, which was one of the reasons we booked. I also found the receptionist could have been more relaxed.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the stay at Hotel Le Diamond Rock really impressed us. JoJo, the Guest Experience Manager, went out of her way to make our time in Tignes memorable, and the ski room staff were kind, helpful and worked hard to look after us. The front desk team were helpful too. We’d forgotten a converter, and they lent us one. The service and accommodations were exceptional. We’ll definitely stay here next time we ski at Tignes. Thanks for such a lovely experience and hospitality.

We had such a good experience at Hotel Diamond Rock that I felt I had to write a review, even though I don’t do that often. The hotel is finished to a high standard and seems thoughtfully equipped. Staff were excellent and happy to help with requests. The ski-in, ski-out access makes it easy to reach the main bowl at Tignes le Lac, and after a full day skiing it was great to come back to the spa. I’d definitely recommend it.

JoJo made a big difference to our stay. She took care of all our restaurant bookings, and everywhere we went we were treated like VIPs. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel is in a superb location too. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.
