Hotel Le Paquis

The rooms are on the small side, but had everything we needed, and the views were amazing. We had a fantastic week skiing at Hotel Le Paquis, with the slopes so close by. First visit for us, and we'd definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

We really appreciated our stay. The rooms were clean, the spa was very good, and the south-facing view was lovely.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fruit salad, yoghurt, pastries, cereals and granola, meat and sausage, boiled eggs, juice, tea, coffee, and several kinds of bread brought to the table. The staff were very helpful, showing us around briefly before taking us to our room. Our room was small but had lots of storage and a large balcony facing south over the lake. It was clean, the beds were made and towels changed each day. The bathroom was a decent size, with a bath rather than only a shower. The spa is compact but well equipped. The small jacuzzi is fine for two, though tight for more people, especially if you're sharing with other guests. From the boot room entrance, the slope is about 75 metres away. You can ski down to the Toviere cable car or the ‘magic carpet’ lift, but need a little speed to avoid having to climb. We had a good stay at Le Paquis and would happily stay again.

Being right beside a slope makes this a handy hotel for skiing. The rooms are small but have most of what you'd need, except a kettle. They're comfortable, with a good shower and a balcony. Breakfast is a reasonably good continental spread.
