We loved the mountain views from our large, wonderfully warm bedroom, and breakfast kept us going until lunch with plenty of sweet and savoury choices. Hotel le Terril Blanc is a small, charming family run two star hotel, kept by the same family since it was built. Beatrice, one of the owner’s daughters, stayed up late to welcome us when we arrived. The hotel was clean and tidy, and despite having quite a few rooms, it never felt crowded. The bus stop is right outside, and it’s a short walk to the centre of Tignes 2100 and the well stocked Sherpa supermarket. There’s also a huge boot room downstairs. We all agreed we’d gladly return next year if we come to Tignes. A wholehearted five stars from us.

The balcony view was breathtaking, and the hotel is close to both the town and slopes. It’s quiet, well located, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! :)

It’s a very simple, budget friendly hotel, cheaper than almost everything else nearby, and I’d definitely stay again. The staff were great and very helpful. We walked the couple of hundred metres to the main lifts in the morning, then skied nearly to the hotel in the afternoon. There’s a bus stop at the door, and the lake is nearby. Breakfast was pretty decent, and there’s a cosy bar on the lower floor.

We stayed for a week during European Snow Pride and found the room spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with fantastic views across the lake towards the mountain. Breakfast was done well, and there’s a good sized boot room on the ground floor. The hotel is welcoming, well kept, and great value. The main lifts in Tignes 2100 are an easy walk away, and the regular shuttle to Val Claret stops right outside.
