I’ve stayed here with my family every year since 2021. The apartments are spacious, and the pool, gym, and spa complex are nice. Staff are friendly and professional, and the price is good for such a well located ski-in/ski-out residence in Tignes/Val d' Isere, especially in low season. The upgraded Marais lift is spectacular and gets you quickly to Aiguille Piercee in the morning. You need just three lifts, Les Boisses, then Aguille Rouge, then Toviere, to reach Val d'Isere. Tignes le lac and Val Claret have more reasonably priced food shops and places to eat, and you can get there by lift or free shuttle bus. There can be big snowfalls even in late April, and January can be very snowy and cold, so don’t skip the underground parking or your car could get snowed in. The village has a very upmarket, expensive Spa shop and only one local Bar / Restaurant, but that does make it quiet at night.

Tignes 1800 is a small village, but it has what you need for a good ski trip. The rooms are fairly new, the location is right on the slopes for ski-in/ski-out, and the spa is great, with a sauna that’s a bit cold, a steam room, hot tub, and decent pool. There are three buildings, A, B, and C. CGH owns and manages the first two, while C is independently owned. Residents in C can use the spa and garage, but aren’t welcome in the lobby. We arrived early and asked if we could sit inside rather than freeze outdoors with our small child. The receptionist politely threw us out. I’d considered buying a CGH property, but now I don’t want my guests to have the same experience.

Already thinking about coming back next year. The apartments are spacious, the bread service is really handy, and the SPA is decent. Ski-in/ski-out access and fast lifts make it easy to get to the centre of the ski area. Nothing to complain about.

The SPA was superb, and we could ski straight out and back in. The premises, equipment, and furniture were all new, the kitchen was well equipped, and the heating worked well. Ski lockers are included in the apartment price. Recommended.

Love this place. Stunning mountain location, ski-in and ski-out in winter, and so much to do in summer. The staff are really friendly and the facilities are great.
