La Casa Torreillane

We came by bicycle this time and had no trouble parking or charging our electric bikes. It’s already got us planning another visit. This was our second stay, and hosts Silvia and Gilles made it even better with their extraordinary hospitality and warm welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with large comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade items.

We woke to birdsong, had coffee on the porch, and finished the day by a cozy fire. That quiet rhythm was hard to leave. The host was welcoming, gracious, and quick to respond, which made everything easy. The cottage was tucked into a peaceful, scenic spot, a real break from everyday bustle. It felt private and close to nature, like a home away from home. Inside, it was immaculate, cozy, and furnished with rustic charm. The hosts had thought of everything, from comfortable beds and soft blankets to a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of little touches. It has a magical feel and would suit a romantic weekend, a quiet solo escape, or a base for exploring locally. I loved staying here and can’t wait to come back. A hidden gem.

Torreilles is a gorgeous village and a handy base for visiting many worthwhile sights. The guest house is lovely too, with very pleasant hosts and clean rooms furnished with real taste.

There’s a lovely shared living room with a big TV, and the rooms are really nice. The building dates from the 17th century, which adds to its appeal. Breakfast was fabulous, with wonderful French food. It’s such a beautiful place to stay, and the owners are warm and friendly. Service was fantastic. I absolutely recommend it.
