The meals were a real highlight, and breakfast made with local ingredients was excellent. The villa sits in a protected natural area, and the accommodation and service were both very good. A great little boutique hotel.

The food and wine were superb, and the place itself feels quite unique. The owners and operators are warm, charming, and know their stuff. It felt about as much like being at home as a hotel can.

We stopped for lunch on my birthday and had a lovely time. The meal was amazing, with care put into all the little details, and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere felt nice and exclusive. We even had coffee beside the lake.

We spent two weeks at this beautiful hotel, and the peaceful surroundings made for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The restaurant food was terrific at any time of day. Staff were caring and professional, while still making us feel at home, and the service was just perfect. I'd recommend spending at least one night at Villa de l'etang blanc.
