We got out of there as fast as we could. Luckily, since it was November and the low season, we found another hotel nearby. I'd never had such a bad experience or stayed anywhere like it.

The room was a nightmare to reach, up five flights of stairs, and once inside it smelled damp. There wasn't even a door on the bathroom. The bed, which doubled as a sofa, looked like it had come from a landfill: its base was wrecked, the mattress unusable, and every small movement made it creak loudly. Once I realized my mistake, I had to book somewhere else because this place simply wasn't fit to stay in. I wanted to rate it zero. I've never seen anything worse. Stay away.
