Celenya Hôtel

The location is superb, and the room was clean. Staff service was awesome too. The room is a little tight, though. Even a triple room felt just right for two people.

The staff were a delight, and breakfast was very nice. The rooms are small but clean, and the hotel is well placed for arriving by train or walking around Toulon. It covers the basics well. The bath and shower are tiny, though, and the floor is likely to get completely wet. As advertised, it's a straightforward hotel. I'd recommend Celenya Hotel to intrepid travelers.

The cleaning staff were extremely noisy, slamming doors and banging the walls with the vacuum, especially around 9am on the weekend. That's an easy thing to fix. Otherwise, it's a simple, clean room with air conditioning right in the city center and a very good price for the quality. I'd stay again and recommend it to friends.

The rooms are Japanese-sized, probably because the building is old, but the beds are comfortable, the shower room is quite large, and the TV is well positioned. The view from 502, or any west-facing second-floor room, is awesome, and the Wi-Fi is strong. Breakfast costs 9€ and has everything. It is served by staff dedicated to breakfast, working from the front desk. The place feels like a four-star experience in a two-star hotel. It's right by Gare train stn, near KFC and public sq. Uninvited guests, the ladies of the night, are flagged and restricted, so security seems pretty good. Great value, 100%.
