It's a clean little place with decent decor, close to some nice snack bars and restaurants, and I found parking easily nearby. With the palace of justice close by, parking in that area felt safe. The receptionist was really kind, and the price was good for such a nice tiny hotel. We did hear the neighbors arguing, but it was brief and wasn't the hotel's fault. I thought it added a bit of reality to the stay. People leaving bad reviews may not have seen some of the truly bad hotels in France. This isn't one of them.

There's no real air conditioning, just a little fan that barely moves any air. Opening the small window means getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, and I couldn't sleep at night. The receptionist said the price was low, but that doesn't excuse advertising air conditioning when there isn't any. He also said the view was amazing, which doesn't solve the problem. Very frustrating. They should remove the air conditioning listing because it's fake.

The staff were really friendly, and the location is handy: 10 minutes on foot to the port and town, 10 minutes to the station, and about half an hour to the beaches, or you can take a bus. There's no lift to the rooms, so the stairs could be a problem if you're disabled.
