B&B HOTEL Toulouse Basso Cambo

The air conditioning wouldn't work, and we had a miserable night because of it. I later noticed several rooms had their windows open too, so it wasn't just our room having trouble. Everything else about the property was great. I'd only stay here when the weather is cooler.

The new family room was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in fairly good condition. Still, I didn't sleep at all because the beds were far too hard, like in many places. Air conditioning controls also shouldn't have such bright blue lights.

The wifi often failed at the first authentication step, so I couldn't connect many times. I also had no towel exchange unless I asked. The receptionist agreed to change the towels, but looked very displeased about it. I had sent a question through the website beforehand and never got a reply. Apart from those issues, things were generally fine.

I didn't feel safe on the premises. There was no visible staff member to take complaints, and reception was always closed. The car park had people sitting around to socialise and relax, as well as people trying to get into cars. Someone attempted to rob my car in the middle of the day. At night, other guests knocked on my door. Check-in was automated, and the first code wouldn't open the door. Nobody investigated, and it looked as if someone might already have been in the room. There was no follow-up to check how I was doing, and no sense of security.
