Blue Loft

On December 3rd 2025, we stayed in apartment 10 on the 18th floor. A few things made the stay difficult. The shower holder was broken, so you had to hold the shower while using it, and the bathroom lock either didn’t work or needed instructions. It would also help to have directions for using the shower, since the controls can work differently in guests’ home countries. There weren’t extra blankets or proper sheets to cover up with. We were two people who needed separate bedding and couldn’t manage that. More pillows in different materials would help too, since some people can’t sleep on fluffy pillows and others can’t use firm ones. There was no USB socket or adaptor available, so I couldn’t charge my phone. If there’s no receptionist to provide an adaptor, USB outlets in the room would be useful. The Wi-Fi password should be posted in the room somewhere, since many people miss it in emails. Also, please don’t advertise parking on booking.com if it isn’t really available. I paid 40 euros to park because I didn’t want to leave my car on the street.

The breakfast was a highlight, delivered to the apartment each morning on trays with plenty to eat. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, with amazing views over Toulouse and beyond. HautLofts is in a great location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and would come back.

We’ve stayed in these lofts twice in the past two months, first in a superior loft and then, on our second visit, in the fabulous penthouse. Watching Toulouse wake up and settle down was amazing, and the views are breathtaking. We’ve been to a lot of five-star hotels in Toulouse, but this place, while not five-star, is the most striking and interesting one. The location is ideal, just a couple of minutes from place Wilson. We also explored quarter St Aubin, with its nice food shops and restaurants about five minutes away. The front of house staff were friendly and informative. If you’re arriving by train, it’s a short walk. I recommend it 100%. A couple of small things could be better, like more comfortable outdoor furniture and an improved TV and entertainment area. We didn’t come to watch TV, though, since the view is so distracting.

We won’t be coming back to haut lofts, and they’ve lost a valued guest. This had been our first choice in Toulouse since Sept 2020, and we’d stayed many times. The manager used to welcome us, was polite and responsive, and made everything easy. She also gave us good discounts because we were repeat guests. Yesterday I called to ask whether I could get a good rate. The man who answered was hard to understand and came across as quite off. He said he couldn’t check any tarifs and told me to call back in two hours. I run a holiday business and can’t imagine treating a guest that way. I called again and was told to call back another time, so I gave up. It feels like management has clearly changed and the staff have been replaced with an awful team.
