Campanile PRIME - Toulouse Sud Cite de L'Espace

The restaurant was decent, with nice entree and dessert buffets. Rooms are simple but comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. I liked that the toilet is farthest from the bed and its light switch is inside the door, so you don't wake your roommate at night. The staff were pleasant and efficient, and seemed to put real effort into looking after guests. It's a great base for Space City and other nearby attractions. We'll definitely stay again when we're in the area.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and breakfast was limited in choice but good quality. The hotel is right in front of city of space, only 200 meters from its entrance, and there's plenty of parking. The rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures and feel a bit dated, with a bed, TV, desk and chair, water heater, some coffee and tea, a hairdryer, and a shelf. There's no bidet in the bathroom. It's a step up from a bed and breakfast type of hotel, and suits a one-night stop on a car trip.

Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well presented, but check whether it's included. We had to pay an extra 14 € each, which was far too much. The restaurant serves until 22.00, but after 20.30 they stop bringing out food. The hot dishes looked good, though the taste was poor, so we ended up with rice and fries. The hotel was clean, but there was no ventilation in the toilet. The worst part was the morning receptionist, who was rude and arrogant, gave no explanation about the extras, and seemed unprepared. He could speak French, or perhaps only wanted to. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, so I'd choose somewhere else.

The ratatouille was the best I've ever had, and the food overall tasted delicious. We had dinner as five people, including two adults, with the starter, hot food, and dessert buffets. But only a few of the hot dishes were actually hot, and cold fries aren't very good. It wasn't cheap, and with the mains cold, the quality didn't match the price.
