Citadines Wilson Toulouse

The rooms are small but good for solo travelers or couples trying to save money. Mine had a kitchenette with a stovetop and microwave, and downstairs there was a nice patio and free coffee from a machine. It's a handy, affordable choice for a weekend in Toulouse. This apartment hotel is right in the heart of the city, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Victor Hugo Market is just down the street, and the Capitole district is a few blocks away.

Staff were very friendly, and I loved the inner garden. The location is excellent, with plenty of places and public transport within walking distance. Breakfast costs 12 euro per person, which is very expensive for what's offered.

I've stayed at Citadines properties in a lot of cities and countries, and this one was still very comfortable. It may be a little less luxurious than the others, but the bed and linens were good, and the front desk person was very capable and ready to help with any question or need.

The free-flow coffee downstairs kept me happy, and the location wasn't bad at all. The layout made this an unusual stay, though. We had a triple room on the very top floor, with the toilet separate from the shower and next to the kitchen. The shower and bedroom were upstairs, reached by a tiny staircase. If you're not able-bodied, don't choose this room. And if you're a bit older and need the bathroom often, you'll probably end up sleeping on the sofa bed.
