Hotel De France

An affordable place in Toulouse, near Hugo Market and within walking distance of the Capitol. The room service was excellent, and I loved the classic interior. Best of all, the elevator fascinated me. Let me know if you find it as fascinating as I did 😍😍🤩

The rooms are small, but adequate, and they have air conditioning. With the hotel so well placed in the centre of the old city, you probably won’t spend much time in the room anyway. It had recently been refurbished and painted, and everything looked clean and presentable. Good value too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, even when I arrived at 1 am. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Happy to recommend this excellent hotel.

I stayed one night and everything was fine, with no complaints. The reception people were really nice, and I’m very grateful they let me stay until 1 instead of making me leave at 11. My flight was late, so that helped a lot. The room was pretty clean and it was quiet around there, so I slept well. Hope to come back. Best wishes 🌺

The location makes this a good place to stay in central Toulouse. The beds are a bit small, and the curtains don’t block all the street light. Breakfast is poor, and costs way too much for something mediocre. I’d get something outside instead, like Maison Pillon just down the street.
