We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed it. Our room was on the fourth floor, the penthouse, ho ho. The hotel has no elevator, so be ready to carry your luggage up. The shower is just big enough for one person, and the curtain kept sticking to me, which I didn't like. Those points match what other reviews say, but they weren't deal breakers for us. Our room faced the back, so it was quiet, and it was very clean. Everyone on staff, from housekeeping to reception, was friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very nice, served in a cosy area, and there's a small inner courtyard where you can sit outside away from the city. The building's front can put you off, with its one-star rating sign and a strip club next door, though the club was either very quiet or out of business. Inside, the hotel is charming. We'd gladly recommend it.

The staff were helpful, which is why I'm giving it three stars instead of one, though I wouldn't stay again. The building is old and seems poorly maintained, there's no elevator, and the rooms are tiny. It's just 10m from a gentleman's club. You can get the same room for 56€ instead of 65€ if you call the hotel, as shown in a photo below. Breakfast is mostly carbohydrates, with no protein, which was bad for my muscles and my belly.

For a budget hotel, this was a good option in Toulouse. The building felt clean, quiet, and secure, and the Wi-Fi was decent enough for a video Skype call from near the top floor. My room was small, but I could fit comfortably with two large suitcases. It only had a fan, no air conditioning, so it got pretty hot in mid July. The shower was tiny too, and at 6ft 1in I had trouble moving around in it.

The rooms are small and the hotel itself is very simple, but the staff at reception and in the breakfast area were really friendly. Coffee in the morning was good, and the price was good value.

The room was good and breakfast was perfect. Service was excellent too. The only issue was someone smoking and coughing in the courtyard around midnight, then again around 4am.
