We arrived in Toulouse late, and after a long passport queue we missed the last Flx Bus. All the trains had been cancelled for the evening, so the hotel was a really convenient place to stay overnight before catching a train in the morning, about a 100 m walk away. The room was warm and quiet, and the man at reception was extremely helpful and happy to speak English. Thank you, Ibis. A much better experience in France than in the UK.

I’m leaving this negative review because the hotel never responded to a billing error. My husband and I booked through Booking.com for September 11, 2025, then changed our arrival to September 10 within the free cancellation period and well before the stay. Somehow, we ended up with two separate reservations, one under each of our names. At check-in, we asked the clerk to confirm there were no other reservations, and he said there weren’t. We only discovered after returning to the US that we’d been charged twice for the same night, on two different credit cards. I emailed the hotel asking them to correct it and got no reply. Booking.com then contacted them after we filed a dispute, requesting a refund of one charge. I emailed the hotel again with the same request and still heard nothing. It feels like a money grab. Very disappointed.

Our fifth-floor room was set up for three people, so it was fairly spacious. It was clean and had a kettle, but the tea and coffee supplies were sparse: two tea bags, green and mint, and two coffee sachets, with no milk or cream. The view faced the main road and main station, yet the room was fairly quiet. Staff were friendly, though the breakfast buffet wasn’t being watched closely enough to keep everything ready. When we arrived, there were no small plates, so two had to be quickly washed and brought out.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. My double room was clean, though fairly bare, and the small shower and window looking onto a wall weren’t great. For one night, it had what I needed. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.
