Good value and a very nice place to stay. The staff are kind and really helpful. It’s near the city centre, with plenty of good shops, places to eat and drink, and bakeries close by. Parking is nearby, but it’s very tight, so you’ll need a small car.

The room stayed roasting hot, and the air conditioning barely cooled it at all. It’s oddly placed in one corner on the second floor and set to a hard limit of 22C. It was 40C outside, so we ended up taking four cold showers during the night just to sleep. The receptionist seemed almost happy to tell us 22C was the lowest setting. The woman at reception was much friendlier and more helpful. The inadequate AC probably cost the hotel two stars for me.

The staff are welcoming and polite, and the hotel is close to the city centre. But some basic things in the rooms are falling apart, so maintenance needs attention. Also, there’s no coffee machine, even though the website says there is.

I really liked how easy it was to get to the city center, about a 5-10 minute walk, with cafes, restaurants, and bars along the charming street. The area was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with a useful kitchenette and fridge, and having laundry facilities on the first floor was convenient. The staff made the stay special. They were polite and genuinely keen to help, from check-in to city tour ideas, restaurant suggestions, and even small requests. Emre deserves a special thank you for making my stay at Odalys unforgettable. He’s one of the best hoteliers I’ve met. I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.
