Hotel Les Capitouls Toulouse Centre - Handwritten Collection

Friendly staff, and there’s an elevator. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. I stayed one night. I didn’t try breakfast, and the basement fitness room is quite small with little equipment. Thank you!

The old building has a complicated layout. Even with an elevator, reaching my room meant taking one flight up and another down, so keep that in mind with heavy luggage or accessibility needs. The rooms are mid-sized, neither large nor tiny, and the central location makes most places walkable. The nearby train station feels a bit shady. I’d also prefer no carpet. Still, it’s a solid place to stay.

We stopped in Toulouse for just 24 hours and had a great stay. The staff were really friendly, especially the man who seemed to be the manager, and our room was quite big compared with other European hotels I’ve stayed in. Shops and restaurants we wanted to visit were only a short walk away. It felt like very good value for what we paid. Highly recommend.

The hotel has its own distinctive décor, with each room styled differently, and I really liked all the design details. The location made things easy too: shops, cafés and restaurants were about a 10-minute walk away, whether I wanted a quick coffee or a cosy dinner. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented, with fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses and hot dishes. I had a wonderful stay from the moment I arrived and would definitely come back on my next trip to Toulouse.
