Quality Hotel Toulouse Centre

The hotel may be small, but it has a really welcoming, personal feel. Laura, Cleotilde, and Eric were especially thoughtful and attentive, going out of their way to help guests feel at home. The warm service makes this a cozy, friendly place where you feel valued. A charming stay with a personal touch.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the room was clean and well equipped. It had a work desk, closet, safe, accessible outlets, blackout curtains, a capsule coffee machine, and a kettle with tea bags. The mini fridge had complimentary water and Coke. There was a Carrefour city in the same block. The bathroom had an enclosed shower, sink, toilet, shampoo, and body wash, but no bidet, lotion, dental kit, or shaving kit. No robe or slippers either. The hotel is small, with 8-10 rooms on each floor, and is well located near a major pedestrian street, Pl Wilson, and Marche Victor Hugo. Breakfast costs 14 euros and needs to be booked ahead. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days the bed was made and towels changed, other days they weren't. I don't think the room was vacuumed daily, so it seemed like limited service, which was unusual for a 3-star hotel and wasn't mentioned on the site. One bedside light didn't work. The WiFi didn't actually provide internet. Devices connected, but the router had no internet connection, apparently due to DHCP server issues issuing a 169.254.. type address. The front desk understood and gave me a lobby password, but the connection barely worked there either. It's a clean, good place to stay, but don't plan on working from the room.

The location is spot on, and a large underground parking garage just around the corner worked really well for us. The price was good value, though the rooms are basic and starting to look dated. We arrived early on our first day and left our luggage. We also got a quick look at breakfast, which seemed basic, so we decided against paying 14 EUR per person. Our shower was missing half a door. We told reception, and they said they knew about it, so I don't understand why they assigned that room to guests.

I stayed for two nights in this small, charming hotel. The room was cozy and clean, but the staff were the best part. I spoke with three different women at reception, and all were friendly and helpful. One assisted with check-in and changing my room. Another made sure the aircon, or heater, was working properly. The woman on the night shift checked whether I was a guest by asking two questions, without making me uncomfortable. I thought it was a great security approach. Thanks to all of them. The airport bus stop is an easy five-minute walk away, and I'd be happy to return on my next visit to Toulouse.
