Ramblas

We had to wait 45 minutes for a response after reporting the heavy cigarette smell in our room. The property admitted that a guest had smoked inside, but said they couldn’t change our room because we’d already used the shower. They offered no discount for this stay, only a credit for a future one. We were just passing through Toulouse and have no plans to return, so that was useless. It was a horrible experience. Avoid this place and stay somewhere else.

The staff were lovely, and the room was clean and well insulated. We couldn’t hear the street or the other hotel guests, and the location was very convenient. I also left my phone charger behind. When I contacted them, they were polite and did everything they could to send it back to me, very efficiently. Nabil handled it personally, and I really appreciated that.

The room was air-conditioned, which mattered a lot to me with temperatures at 28, and the receptionist was very friendly. Just keep in mind this is an apart-hotel, not a full-service hotel, so there isn’t much service. The room could have been bigger. A solid three stars overall.

The beds were really comfortable. Reception was supposed to open at 10 on Sunday, but nobody showed up until 11, so we arrived late for our city tour.
