This place might suit a family of eight-legged mountain goats. For everyone else, the stairs to the loft feel dangerous, and the room is so cramped you’d have to step outside to change your mind. There’s seating for eight and shoe storage for at least 37 pairs, plus a washing machine that shakes the whole building. The staff member we dealt with was abrasive, rude, demanding, and not helpful. Room cleaning isn’t included. The shower and toilet were clean and worked, and the bed in the loft seemed clean, but its duvet was ripped. I was already being generous with two stars. Stay at your own risk. To clarify for the owner, my wife and I stayed in the “Joel” room. It’s very small, with dangerous stairs leading to the loft bed, which had an old duvet cover with a tear. There was a stained two-seat couch, two dining chairs, two armchairs, an old ripped beanbag, and a desk chair, eight seats in all. There was also a shoe cabinet and more shoe storage in the closet. The area rug was stained too. This should help identify our room, which didn’t look like the other photos on your site at all. Maybe I should take off another star.

The location was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and ready to answer our questions. The well-equipped apartment made a great base in Toulouse. It’s a special place, and we’d definitely stay again.

The location worked really well for getting into the city center, and the rooms were roomy, comfortable, and very clean. It was also peaceful at night. Theo helped us get everything arranged for a week in town for a trade show at the MEETT. I’ll be bringing my wife back for another stay soon.

We only had a short time in Toulouse, and Mathilde gave us a really helpful guide to things to see and do. When my partner’s knee injury made our room difficult to reach, she also moved us closer to the ground floor. We booked at short notice and were glad we chose this lovely hotel. I’d recommend it for the location and service.

The top floor has a lovely view over the old rooftops, and the place itself is quiet and comfortable. Astrid’s space is in a great part of Toulouse and feels unique. Just pack light: the stairs are narrow, so carrying anything bigger than a backpack up and down is a challenge. At least you’ll get your daily workout!
