There were plenty of bars and cafés nearby where you could sit and take in the atmosphere. The square we visited on Sunday afternoon had a market and a swing band playing. From there you can walk onto the bridge or down to the riverbank, and it's right at the edge of the town's characterful centre. Definitely worth a visit.
