We left after just an hour, thankfully, so we didn't have to spend our holiday dealing with the hosts' attitude and service. They were rude and inflexible, and the whole experience felt dictatorial. We'd booked this place a couple of years earlier, mainly because the hot tub was supposed to be available. On arrival, the owners said they empty it in summer and it wasn't working. There was also a formal rulebook, extra charges for drinks by the pool and for plugging electrical devices in the room. That wasn't the relaxing break we expected. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the grounds are landscaped and have a pool. It's in a perfect location, too. This is a beautiful B&B, and we highly recommend it. Hard to imagine finding somewhere better!

Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of variety and everything nicely prepared. The rooms had every comfort, and the whole property was kept in impeccable shape. Sonia and John went out of their way to look after us, and we're grateful for their care. La Bergerie de Laval is a peaceful base for visiting nearby attractions. There's a useful information folder in the room, and Sonia and John are glad to share extra tips and restaurant recommendations. Their honesty bar also says a lot about the trust they place in guests. We loved the rooms, charming terraces, and inviting pool. From the moment we arrived, the place felt special.
