MM Greenhouse Appartement / Tourcoing - Lille

The room has enough space and the necessary facilities, and the hotel is handy for the station and transit. The shower door doesn’t shut completely, though, so the floor got wet each time I used it. There was no hair dryer either.

Getting in was easy even though our train delay meant arriving at midnight. The online check-in had sent me the room details and access code in advance, so I could skip the queue at the self-service machine. Really great service. The room was clean, simple and modern, just what you'd expect from a B&B Hotel. It's a short walk to the SNCF and metro, and a good base in Tourcoing.

I needed a clean, warm place to sleep near Tourcoing for work, and this did the job. The room was clean, the shower had great pressure, and the soundproofing seemed good enough that I couldn't hear anything, so I put music on. The woman with glasses at the desk was rude the next morning when I asked for a refund because the vending machine was faulty. I wasn't there for fancy service, though. It's not the Ritz, just somewhere simple and functional.

The croissants and coffee were very good, though the bacon looked cold and undercooked. Breakfast was otherwise adequate. I also want to thank the kind, patient gentleman at reception who helped when my credit card wouldn't work. We enjoyed the stay and had a special rate. I'll use this chain again when I can.
