The dining room has been redecorated and is bright and pleasant. The dishes were still cooked well, but the duck breast portion was meager: one-third of a duck breast, half a steamed potato, and half a peach. The sides felt rather sparse too. Service seemed overwhelmed. Our duck breasts arrived cold, and the desserts came without cutlery. The change in ownership hasn't been entirely beneficial. A bit more attention in the dining room and slightly bigger portions would help. The rest was fine.

The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is decent, but the room needs a complete renovation soon. The bedding is poor, there's no soundproofing, the towels have holes, and the floor is very worn. Not even a star...

I go every week, and the daily specials are always thoughtfully put together. Fresh fish is available each day as a special, service is quick, and it's great value for money. In summer, lunch on the terrace is very pleasant. It's also one of the few restaurants in Toulouse with Maredsous Blonde on tap.
