The main advantages are the location and the roomy rooms. It's right beside the train station, making nearby towns and cities easy to reach. My friends and I were four people sharing two rooms. Our first room was smaller than booked, with a queen bed to share. We'd reserved a larger room with a double bed and a double sofa bed, but staff said the sofa bed was for children. After seeing my friends' room, we asked to switch and were moved to a bigger one. It's a no-frills hotel, with no refrigerator and no air conditioning. The aircon only starts in May, and our room felt stuffy. The corridor lights are motion-activated, so it gets very dark unless someone walks by.

Breakfast came in a spacious dining room, with a good range of sweet and savory food: fruit and vegetables, eggs and bacon, pastries, French bread and croissants. The only small letdown was the "fake" scrambled eggs made from dry powder. The place was quiet and close to the station. My room was fairly large, bright and well equipped for holding work meetings.

We were glad to have a car park, and the staff were really friendly. The room at the Novotel Tours was comfortable and very nice. We were traveling as a family and had a very good stay. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special, though we've had much worse on our travels in Spain, so we can't complain. We'd recommend it to anyone passing through Tours.

Even with the train station nearby, we could barely hear anything through the soundproof windows. The service was friendly, the room clean, and the bathroom well equipped. We're just not sure what that odd device on the wall is for.

The bed and bedroom were very comfortable, and we left feeling well rested after a great night. Breakfast was nice, and the service was good quality. Getting there by car from the highway was very easy, and the staff who welcomed us were professional. Arrival was quick and smooth.
