The location was great, and for the price we couldn't have asked for much more. Our room was in good condition and ready for us. Staff helped us check in and out outside reception hours, and arranged access to the secure parking. I'd seen some bad reviews, but our stay didn't match them. I only wish we'd had a second set of towels.

The location worked really well for getting around. The train, coach, and tram station is less than five minutes away, buses run all over, and you can walk to the main shopping areas and the old town, with restaurants from around the world. Parking spots are available, though limited. It's a good choice if you want to be near the center but sleep somewhere quiet, whether you're there for work or pleasure, and get a good night's rest without spending a lot. Our rooms had the toiletries we needed, and we booked two, one for us and one for the kids. The large rooms for three or four people are on one floor, while the standard rooms are on another, so we ended up on separate floors from the kids. The elevator setup between the two sides is interesting, you'll have to discover it for yourself. Room service was minimal but fine for the price, so don't expect five-star treatment. Part of the hotel is student accommodation, which explains seeing young people in the lift and residents with shopping trolleys. The staff were helpful and friendly. Reception closes for lunch during the day, so if you arrive early you may have to wait in town. We had a plumbing problem because previous guests had stuffed paper in the drain 🤔, but it was fixed straight away. I didn't try breakfast: at 8€ per person for six people, I thought it was a bit expensive. There are bakeries, McDonald's, and other places nearby. During our three-night stay, I only once had enough of what I needed between the two rooms.

The price was really low, and I got what I paid for. The sheets were dirty and made me itchy. People were banging around in the rooms and hallway every morning. On the plus side, I felt safe, and the women who worked there were nice enough.

The one thing in its favor was being close enough to walk around the city at night instead of staying in the room. The rest was a letdown. I booked two single beds and got one double, despite receiving an email confirming my request. Parking also cost extra even though Booking.com showed it as free. Reception was just okay, and finding the room was confusing because it was genuinely hard to locate. As soon as we opened the door, there was a bad smell, and the room looked unhygienic. The photos didn't match what we found. Air conditioning was supposedly included, but it was a weak, swiveling unit that barely cooled the room. I spent the night too hot to sleep.
