Les Villas d'Arromanches

The staff were friendly and the location was great, with a nice breakfast too. The room, though, was much smaller than I expected, and there were massive spiders in it.

The town was quiet and easy to get around on foot, and the hotel’s location was perfect. We had an amazing breakfast, and the staff were courteous and helpful. A lovely place for families.

The pool was warm and clean, and my son loved it. Breakfast had plenty of options for different tastes, with welcoming, friendly staff. In the evenings we played games from the reception alcove in the lounge, with hot chocolate and a beer or two. It made for a lovely stay, and I’d definitely come back. Our room, number 11, was clean, inviting, and beautifully dressed, with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and a safe. Open the bathroom window and you can see the sea. The spacious, clean bathroom had a rainfall shower and a lower shower head, and its door opened fully, which would suit someone with disabilities who needs to sit or use a wheelchair. My father stayed upstairs, reached by a small staircase, and had a lovely room with stunning coastline views and a beautiful sunrise. The hotel is beautiful, in a pretty seaside town, conveniently close to all the D-Day beaches. It’s just a five minute walk downhill into town. We’re looking forward to returning.

The room felt fresh and was beautifully presented, and the bar and lounge were just right for a drink. Breakfast was buffet style, with a welcome range of items and a view over the neighboring orchard. I loved the orange juicer! The gardens and pool are a bonus, and the patio terrace is a great spot to unwind with a drink on a summer evening. It’s a wonderful property with lovely staff, well placed for a short walk into town and to the beach. Thank you for a perfect break.
