The worst part was how noisy it was. Doors banged all night, and in the morning I could hear water from other rooms, every other noise, and luggage rolling down the corridor. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, had lots of mosquitoes, a hard bed and an old, itchy pillow. The pool was old and dirty too. I arrived one afternoon and found the hotel gloomy and smelly. I wouldn’t have chosen it if work hadn’t brought me there. They need to put effort into renovating the doors and changing the beds to make this a better place to stay.

It’s a handy option if you get into Draguignan late and need somewhere to sleep. Payment is electronic, and you collect your key through an automated handover. The place is clean and sterile, with no charm, but it does the job and is fairly cheap. Other guests let their doors slam in the morning, so it can be noisy.
