There was no hairdryer in my room or anywhere else, which was a real problem with my long hair in the cold winter. The room, bathroom, and shared areas were all very dirty, with worn carpet everywhere. The place needs renovation soon.

Getting around without a car is difficult, though there is plenty of parking, and there aren’t any restaurants nearby, so plan your meals ahead. The café croissant breakfast was adequate, but dinner at the ground floor restaurant was very mediocre and service was slow. There’s no lunch on some days and no dinner Friday through Sunday. The rooms were tidy and the bathroom was comfortable for a budget hotel, with hot water available. Reception staff knew a little English but seemed unwilling to make an effort to communicate. They need to listen to customers and make a lot of improvements. Just sleep, wash, eat, and leave. Don’t expect more.

For a road trip, it’s fine if you only need somewhere to sleep for the night. It’s a budget hotel and the price reflects that, but I wouldn’t stay here for long. Breakfast was especially disappointing, so I’d skip it.

The room was on the small side, but that didn’t bother me. It was clean and comfortable, the bed was good, and the shower was amazing.
