ibis budget Versailles Trappes

The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable, but the floors were dirty and the rooms dusty. I’ve stayed at much cleaner Ibis Budget hotels. The nearby highway can make nights noisy. I can’t complain too much, but this place could do better, and I won’t return.

A lovely welcome, a great room, and a comfy, clean bed.

Breakfast was cramped and disappointing. There weren’t many choices, and the fruit wasn’t replenished. The rooms are extremely tight, and having the wash basin beside the bed was inconvenient and frankly ridiculous. There was no kettle for hot water, nor basic items like shampoo or extra soap. There’s also no lift, which makes the stairs a real challenge for anyone with mobility issues. For the amount paid, the comfort, amenities, and breakfast made the value questionable. I’d think carefully about what matters to you before booking Ibis Budget Hotel Versailles Trappes.

The free parking was about the only good thing, along with being able to get back out onto the road. The rooms were tiny, the shower was rubbish, and the main road made it noisy. I had just one thin pillow. A staff member with glasses was very rude in the morning. We’d paid for breakfast but weren’t told the serving times at check-in, so we missed it by 10 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend it.
