The rooms upstairs have a beautiful panoramic view and feel very cozy. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is close to the beach, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. There's an interesting Oceanarium opposite the hotel, and a SPA center with a gym and pool under a glass dome on the beach next door. If you're visiting Pink Granite Beach, this hotel is a good option.

The breakfast room is wonderful, and the rooms have been renovated. Mine felt a bit stuffy, though, and I was unsettled by how few electrical outlets there were. I came in the wrong season, with road works across the street. I'm sure it'll be much nicer once they're finished.

Definitely ask for an ocean-view room! This was the view from our room no. 21, and the shower deserves 5 stars too.
