It was a frightening experience. We were there for a week in June with our young family when the mobile home caught fire because of an electrical fault. My husband put it out, and without him the home could have been badly damaged, with the fire potentially fatal. The site manager said it was moments away from setting the polystyrene floor alight. They moved us quickly to another mobile home with the same specifications, but we couldn't relax for the rest of the holiday. We thought the manager might offer compensation for what happened. Instead, the email replies afterwards felt quite rude, and nothing was offered. I've also tried contacting Flower Camping head office and haven't had a response. It's a shame, because the campsite itself is great, clean and well maintained.

We'd planned to stay four nights, but liked it enough to extend to a week. The campsite was immaculate, the staff were really friendly, and our private pitch was close to a very clean toilet block. It's good for kids, and we had a great time at the aqua park. The beach and amenities in town aren't far away. We'd visit again.

We came from the UK as a family of five, and France was new to us. We were happy with the location, campsite and facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when the language barrier came up. We'd gladly return and recommend it for a family holiday.
