The morning meal was just lovely, with everything prepared personally by the owner. We were welcomed by the owner’s brother, who was so friendly that we felt at home right away. They moved us up to a really nice apartment, which felt authentic to this part of France. The hotel is peaceful, with wineries right around it, and they immediately offered to book us a restaurant for the evening. We’d happily return and recommend staying here.

The countryside around here is lovely, and it made for a convenient stop on our way south. We had a great room, and breakfast was included as a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful, though it was worrying that nobody was there to let us in, and the PIN in our booking confirmation was wrong. A neighbour came to our rescue. With pizza from the vending machine as the town’s only dinner option, the evening meal was an interesting experience. It was okay, though!

Dinner was sorted for us when the host booked a nice restaurant in a nearby village. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and they gave us a free upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

A lovely hotel, and our second time staying here. It’s a convenient place to stop on the way home. Just keep in mind that nothing nearby is open for dinner on Sunday evenings.

The owner was friendly, and we had our own parking space. Our apartment in the champagne region was clean and nice, and breakfast was a good French one.
