La Glacière - Ostalarià Agricol

We loved spending evenings outside, having dinner beneath the 120-year-old magnolia with its fairy lights. The pool is modest in size, but worked perfectly for us, even for a night swim under the shooting stars, and the kids had fun exploring the different spaces. The house feels authentically Provençal, with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, and recently renovated bathrooms with great showers. Olivier was such a generous, lovely host. He shared stories, his eclectic home, and some of his red wine, and we took six bottles home. When Olga ate the meat we’d prepared for the barbecue one evening, he gave us the steak de boeuf he’d bought for the next day. Merci again! We were two families with four children and a three-month-old baby, staying three nights in August 2022, and it was unforgettable. A couple of practical things: the kitchen is shared and there’s not much room for your own things. Air conditioning is only in the newly built studio. It was unfortunately very hot in the other rooms, and the fans couldn’t keep up with 37-degree heat.

The garden is wonderfully quiet, and the pool makes for a relaxing spot. We felt right at home and could use the kitchen. The owners are super friendly, and the rooms, each with a private bathroom, have been recently renovated. Thanks for having us!

The pool in Olivier and Natalie’s walled garden was a welcome relief in the very hot weather. They made us feel like family, and staying with them turned our time in Tresques into something really memorable. His cooking, along with the organically produced food and wine, was delicious. Dinner was delicious, and the big garden is lovely. We had such a warm, friendly stay in a beautiful old family home. Merci beaucoup Olivier et Natalie!
