I don't usually leave comments when I travel, and this might be my first one, but the owners and Staff at Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette really earned it. I was there over Easter weekend in 2026. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant food was excellent. Above all, the Staff were incredible. I hope I get back to Alsace on another trip. If I do, I'd book there again in a heartbeat.

We arrived by bike without mentioning it when we booked, but the owners were very accommodating and found a place to keep it overnight. The service was perfect, and the hotel itself was very pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant menu looked really tempting!

We stayed here on a motorcycle holiday in spring 2025. It's a nice hotel right in the city center, with tidy, clean rooms reached by a narrow staircase. We could park the motorcycles right outside, though there's no secure parking. The owner speaks Dutch and was very hospitable and helpful, doing her best to make guests happy. Weather permitting, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace at the front. Good value for money, and a recommended stop on a tour of the area.
