Gil greeted us warmly and took care of us, and our young dog was very well looked after too. The grounds are fully enclosed, a real plus, and the amenities worked well for everyday needs and leisure. The indoor heated pool was a treat. There's plenty of space for a large family, with many bedrooms and a roomy dining area, and the château is ideally placed for exploring this heritage rich region. The living room furniture and kitchen could do with an update and freshening, though that seems to be planned. We also felt a second dishwasher would be useful. A beautiful, comfortable château, highly recommended for a lovely family holiday.

Gilles, the manager, handles everything and is really helpful. Breakfast is homemade, and actually everything is homemade. We had a peaceful winter weekend and stayed warm the whole time. The atmosphere and cleanliness were both 10/10, with all the comforts: pool, sauna, steam room, home cinema, gym, and more. Fantastic, I highly recommend it.

The south-facing view is stunning. This is a magnificent home that keeps its original character, from the moldings and fireplaces to the herringbone parquet, faucets, and furnishings. It also has nearly every modern comfort, including heat pumps, a fully equipped kitchen, sauna, heated indoor pool, and home cinema.

The breakfast was fantastic, and I loved chatting with the very welcoming manager. We had a wonderful stay at Château de la Voute, in a picturesque village full of history. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Gilles! Nicolas

Vendôme, the nearest town, is beautiful. We had a wonderful time at the château, with spacious, very comfortable rooms and a really friendly atmosphere.
