La Petite Cour

The staff were so kind with our little son on our first visit, going out of their way to help us care for him. We came back a second time, too. It’s a cozy place that’s welcoming to small children, with a great breakfast and a superb location. One of the best little hotels I’ve stayed in, and good value in Trouville.

La Petite Cour made a great base for the American Film Festival in Deauville in 2015. It’s close to Trouville’s lovely beach, and the boat to Deauville is only three minutes away. The central station is a 15 minute walk, though the hotel itself is tucked away on a quiet street. My single room was small but clean, with distinctive wallpaper and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the croissants and homemade marmalade. The hosts were kind and helpful, and I’d recommend the hotel to friends.

The only real drawback was hearing noise from neighboring rooms, which could be annoying if others are loud. The street itself is peaceful, and the hotel is very close to the beach and thalassotherapy center. Inside, everything was clean and the room was comfortable. We got a warm welcome and appreciated the little evening touches, like coffee or herbal tea. Breakfast was generous, excellent, and made with good quality products.

Room 19 was quiet and comfortable, apart from the seagulls we could hear! We spent the All Saints' Day weekend at La Petite Cour, a charming, cozy hotel. The homemade jams at breakfast were delicious, and the manager and his assistant were very attentive. Thanks again, we’ll be back.
