Les Chalets D'Hôtes a Hantas

Having the two chalets next to each other gave our two families plenty of independence, which was the best part for us. We’ve just wrapped up a really pleasant four-night stay. The chalets feel one of a kind, with original, tasteful decor and a very cozy atmosphere that keeps nature and sustainability in focus. They’re comfortable, too. Breakfast was generous and had lots of variety. Thanks again to our host. The children are already asking when we can come back.

We had a lovely weekend, starting with a warm welcome. The cottage chalet is nicely equipped, and the setting feels special, right in the middle of nature, with a magnificent garden. The view is beautiful, and the pool area is a relaxing spot. Breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade jams.

The local-produce set menu gave us a chance to try some wonderful things, and breakfast was lovely too, with delicious homemade jams and cakes. We really value the owners' friendliness, the quiet setting, and the cozy comfort of the chalets. We still haven't tried the gypsy caravan. This was our second stay at Chalets de Hantas, and I'm sure it won't be our last. Until next time, including those two adorable children!

The garden is well kept, the location is quiet, and there’s air conditioning. We were also welcomed in a friendly way. I don’t usually dwell on the downsides, but this cabin really needs attention. The linoleum ripples underfoot, paint has stained the floor, and the finish is questionable. Mold on the shutters, which don’t close properly, adds to the problems. The deck boards are loose and dirty, and feel dangerous. Electrical cables run all over with very little protection. I understand the cabins are old and can’t be renovated, but at this price, that’s completely unacceptable. Avoid this place!
