The people running Hôtel Le Royal made Tulle feel especially welcoming, and I’m already thinking about coming back. The gentlemen greeted me warmly at the hotel and in the city, and gave me maps and useful suggestions for things to see and do. It’s a family-run place, and the care they put into it really shows. They were among the kindest people I met on my trip through several cities, so don’t hesitate to ask the owners or staff about the hotel or Tulle. I also liked the little perks with the room card, including discounts or free drinks at nearby shops and restaurants. In the evening there’s a cozy bar at reception where you can try local wines. My room was tidy and clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Tulle is beautiful, and I’ll definitely stay at Hôtel Le Royal on my next visit.

The gentleman running the hotel was exceptionally helpful, from giving us local maps to pointing out the places we should see after leaving Tulle. The rooms themselves were nothing special, just clean, spacious, and comfortable.

For the price, it’s spot on. Clean and tidy, with a very pleasant man at reception. It’s no Ritz, but I’d stay again. All good.

The breakfast room was quiet and pleasant, with excellent quality food and coffee available all day. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the bedding and linens were incredibly comfortable. My air-conditioned room was a welcome relief during the heatwave. The staff looked after me well, with recommendations for local outings and a great pizza deal. Nothing negative to say. Thanks again.
