That bottle of champagne was a lovely welcome. Gerard and his wife were so kind, and even though we didn't speak French and they didn't speak English, we managed to communicate. The Gite is beautiful, has everything you need, and makes a great base for visiting the sights.

This was our second time here. This visit, we came to see the cemeteries of the American and German soldiers.
