The setting was peaceful, with a pool and other facilities, and we did have a good time. With heavy rain forecast and mountain nights getting very cold, we upgraded from a tent to a bungalow. The cabin was okay, though it smelled a little moldy. The toilet was tiny, and showering was awkward because you had to hold the showerhead the whole time in a very cramped space. Food was mixed. Breakfast was disappointing: two stale, soft croissants, but the homemade marmalade was delicious and the coffee was good. They asked us to book dinner even though we were the only guests when we arrived. Pizza wasn't available, so the choices were côte de boeuf, a burger with raclette and rösti or without, or salmon. We went with the burger. It tasted great, though warming the bun in the oven would have made it better. The hardest part was leaving. Just before we were due to go, the owner's mother told us that since we had a dog, we needed to clean using a cleaning cart. She said they weren't working that day, so we'd have to do it ourselves. She inspected the bungalow, said “ça va, ça va,” and we still paid the full price. She had changed the security gate code and opened it with the new one once she decided the place was clean enough, so we could finally leave. It felt like being held hostage, and the business would be better off without her there. Her daughter, who took over the campsite with her husband Pascal three years ago, is lovely, speaks English very well, and seems genuinely keen to build something of her own. It's a shame to see her held back by her mother, who we've come to think of as the evil mom. Would we return? Maybe, but only if the mother isn't around. A few small changes could have made our stay much, much better.

The pitches and bathrooms were spotless, and everyone was so welcoming. We had a homemade pizza that made me feel like I was in Italy. The owners deserve top marks. Such a wonderful campsite.

A lovely spot to relax with a drink and watch everything go by.

We spent a week in one of the roughly fifty chalets, and ours, a charming six-person place, was set far enough from the others that we weren't bothered by neighboring noise. The smaller chalets are closer together. We had a lovely terrace and a handy reserved area for parking and setting out deck chairs. The campsite is peaceful, tucked along a small road near the main road, so things are easy to reach without much traffic noise. Cars can access the parking lot from 7 am to 10 pm. Inside, the chalet was well equipped. Our coffee maker wasn't working properly, but they replaced it right away. The water pressure was good and the water very hot, and the firm, thick mattresses meant we slept well. There was plenty to do on site, with a pool, table tennis, a small playground, and mini-golf, all easy to get to. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us great ideas for activities nearby. The area is beautiful, with lots of things to do in the mountains and around the lakes. A week was enjoyable, but we could easily have stayed busy for two. The little restaurant was good too, and its staff were helpful.

We had a fantastic week at this family-run campsite. The staff were super friendly, and the heated pool really was heated. The little bar and restaurant were very good too, and we loved the location and the calm, family-friendly feel. We stayed in a furnished tent, which is great if you like tent camping but want almost the comfort of a bungalow. Just remember that mountain nights get cold, so bring warm pajamas 😂. We'd also tried a more luxurious chain campsite, and both were equally lovely. We ended up enjoying both for their different charms.
