Le Clos des Pommiers

Lovely place and lovely people. They were so helpful, and the homemade food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The room itself could have been pleasant, but we had a really bad stay and I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place. We ended up paying for two nights twice, and our weekend was ruined. We had to book a hotel at the last minute just to get some sleep after leaving this B&B at 11 pm. The noise was unbearable, with the dog barking nonstop for 30 minutes when we arrived, echoing through the house, then barking several more times even while the owners were there. There were also loud voices and a television. With no soundproofing, there was no peace for guests. We messaged the owner to try to work out a respectful solution, but they ignored our requests and even called me dishonest. I don't see how wanting to sleep, then having to pay double for another place to get some quiet, is dishonest. The house just isn't suitable for travelers. If the other room on our floor had been occupied too, it would have been even noisier. It's a shame, but the lack of professionalism and service when problems came up made this a terrible experience.

We loved the hosts, the room, and the excellent breakfast so much that we came back nine days after our first night, which was at the start of our Alsace cycling tour. The bedding was superb too. The dog barked a little when we arrived, but didn't bother us after that. We definitely recommend the room. The "Moustache" restaurant is only a four-minute walk away and is well worth trying, with a lovely setting, great atmosphere, and friendly owner.

We found plenty of places to eat within a 1.5 km walk, even though the village restaurants were closed. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and there was a small bottle of wine waiting when we arrived. We could also make coffee.
