The restaurant has takeout even during lockdown, and the local specialties sound like a lovely reason to come back. The new owners are friendly and keen to make this place their own. They've completely renovated the restaurant and updated part of the hotel, giving this historic spot in central Ugine a nice facelift. It's a comfortable place to stay, too. Looking forward to returning. See you soon!

The room was small, quiet, and clean, and the hotel has recently changed hands. The welcome was simple. Breakfast was very mediocre for the price: a hot drink, butter, some jam, and stale bread and pastries.

€2.60 for a coffee on the terrace! I don't recommend it. The waitress wasn't friendly either. The newsagent next door is much nicer, and coffee there costs €1.20.

The coffee was delicious and fairly priced, and the crepes were worth the detour. We tried the four-cheese and veggie options, and both were delicious.

It's nice to see that small family-run businesses still exist. They looked after me well, the food was good, and I felt comfortable here, so I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars.
