The house and pool area are lovely, and the surrounding area is beautiful. But with such poor phone signal that mobile data is almost impossible, paid Wi-Fi feels especially frustrating. It costs extra per phone per day, as do towels, which weren’t provided. Bedding wasn’t in the house either. We arrived late and had to search around for it, eventually finding it in baskets by the reception building. Reception is open only five hours a day, and nobody answered the emergency number later on. Check-in is only from 5 to 7 pm, and if you’ll arrive later, you have to call reception to let them know. I wish they’d contacted us themselves, since they have so little flexibility. The only number provided was a mobile, so I had to call several times and pay extra for international calls. The deposit was also very high. At the end of the stay, you have to clean the house, bring the bedding to the reception building, and take out the trash, or you might not get the full deposit back. It wasn’t a huge job, but we were surprised since cleaning between guests is normally included. The receptionist didn’t speak English.
