There are great walks right nearby, and the main Dordogne sights are an easy drive away. We had a lovely, spacious place to unwind, with a nice pool and spotless accommodation. The owners were so welcoming. I’d recommend staying here for a short break or a longer holiday.

We came for a wedding nearby and had a wonderful stay. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and stocked with what we needed. The hosts were helpful and flexible, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

The pool and gardens were idyllic, and the village made a lovely setting for our two weeks. Marc Aland Denise's cottage had everything we needed and then some, and it was perfectly placed for visiting the beautiful villages nearby. Marc and Denise made us feel so welcome that we left feeling we’d made two new friends. We’d recommend Bonfarto locations with all our heart, and hope to return.

Urval is a lovely little village, and from there it’s about a 30-minute drive to Sarlat and plenty of beautiful villages and castles. The hills and climbs make the area appealing for road biking, too. Denise and Marc were lovely hosts, and even invited us for coffee before we left. The apartment is in a charming historic building, probably from the 17th century. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy sofa for colder days, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with a shower. There’s a private garden next to it for morning coffee, plus a larger garden to stroll around. We also enjoyed the big private pool and the many sunbeds. Denise and Marc offer a Jacuzzi and meditation classes as well, though we didn’t try either during our short stay. Highly recommended.

A great self-catering place, with a good location, facilities, and owner. We had a great experience. I’ve added a few pictures of the local area and views.
