The views are amazing, and a few of the jumps are genuinely fun. My riding level is pretty good, so I still had fun in the end, but these trails are rough and badly shaped, with lots of gutters and loose stones everywhere. The family trail is hard going too, and the stones and break stairs make it especially frustrating for beginners. The flow trail barely flows at all. Honestly, why call it a flow trail? Some black runs are decent, but several jumps are hard to take, with break stairs after them that make landings tricky and sometimes unsafe without risking your health. Many landings are broken. There isn't really a good ride here, and in my opinion it's a no-go for beginners.

There were hardly any queues, and we could ski all day with very few people around. The resort is beautiful and extensive, with friendly, helpful service. Its location also means lots of sunny days.

When there's plenty of fresh snow, the off-piste runs are good. Restaurants and most shops in Pra Loup 1600 close during the day from 1pm-4pm, then restaurants reopen at 7 pm. There's a cinema in Pra Loup 1600, and a free ski bus between Pra Loup 1600 and Pra Loup 1500 every 30 min from 8am-8pm. There are meant to be three night buses as well, but in low season they sometimes get cancelled, leaving it impossible to find a taxi despite several providers. The lifts between valleys are old and slow, though they're soon to be replaced.
