The room was mostly okay, but the pillowcase had a stain, and I couldn't get help because reception was often closed and no staff were around. There were hardly any basics in the room: no hand soap, mop, sponges, washing-up liquid, or toilet paper. The vacuum cleaner was there but didn't work. Towels were also unavailable at the resort, and you couldn't buy any on site. The nearest shop is a 20-minute drive away. The hotel says towels can be provided for 20 euros, so guests reasonably expect to use the hotel's towels instead of bringing their own. The pool water was very cold, and the pool closes at 6:45 p.m., which makes it almost impossible to use after travelling or sightseeing. I'm very disappointed with this hotel. Things really aren't as they should be, and I wouldn't recommend it.
We got back from the slopes on the skibus at 5:25 PM, leaving barely any time for the pool. Eating after skiing or taking a proper shower first just isn't realistic. Reception says the pool stays open until 7:00 PM, but it actually shuts at 6:45 PM, with guests ushered out even earlier and certainly not kindly. The sauna costs an extra €20 and keeps the same hours, so paying for it doesn't make sense when there's no time to use it properly. For a ski hotel, these hours are a bad joke. The way guests are treated adds to the frustration. The pool might be fantastic if you don't ski, but this place doesn't offer much relaxation.
The setting is picturesque, but without a car the nearest shop means a very long walk. And after staying in plenty of places across different countries and price ranges, I've never seen somewhere so stingy and so unprepared for guests. I'll remember this experience for a long time. We arrived late and exhausted after a delayed journey, even though the resort had known about our group well in advance. The so-called apartments lacked basic cleaning and hygiene supplies, and we had to ask for towels and sheets. They did eventually bring them, clean but torn. It was very late, and with staff speaking very little English, I chose to sleep under those conditions. You'll need to bring things like bathroom hand soap and dishwashing liquid yourself. I've never encountered that, even in cheap accommodation. The place feels more like budget lodging than a hotel. Guests also seem expected to take care of cleaning and general organization, as if we're staff, while the owners and management show little respect for visitors. The pool and sauna close at 7:00 PM, just when people returning from skiing are getting back. I can see how that saves money, since they seem to cut costs on everything, but it's another absurdity. I've stayed in places with all sorts of standards and budgets, and this was a circus. I don't recommend it.
The pool was a refreshing way to unwind after skiing, and there's a free shuttle to the main lifts. We found the location wonderful and the rooms very comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and spoke English.
Friendly staff, lovely views, and the ski bus makes getting to the resort easy. The accommodation is cheap and cheerful, though it could use some updating and a bigger kitchen area.
