The shower pressure was low, even though we were there in the off season, so it wasn't from high demand. The restaurant buffet was mediocre, though the wine list was decent. And the five-hour gap between an 11 checkout and check-in at 4 pm? Really? I even offered to pay for an early check-in, but that wasn't possible. Trying to book the Spa was another hassle. Nobody picked up the phone, and after I left my number with the main reception, who were supposed to pass it on to Spa reception, I still heard nothing after an hour. I went over there myself and found that a teenager had simply unplugged the phone. I've rarely come across people so unhelpful. It felt like they didn't want to work. Even by French standards, the amateurism was way below average. They weren't service-minded, and don't get me started on the food. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I don't get the bad ratings. We stayed in summer and had such a nice time. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and we really liked the staff, the food, and the cozy bar with its fireplace and comfortable seats. The room was super clean, with a bathtub and a separate toilet. There was also a nice terrace outside.

We had a booking problem that wasn't the hotel's fault, but the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They sorted it out. Amazing hotel.
